This Is Not A Solo Dance 2021
“This is Not a solo dance” by Yun Collective is a performance that aims to question and reflect on the women’s role in modern society through repeatedly writing the Mandarin character “女”, which means woman, was created to look like the image of a woman crossing her legs. The piece has performed in Brighton Fringe Festival and Taipei Fringe Festival last year, and it’s going to be performed again at PLAYground theatre in Taipei later in May 2021.

Additionally, Yun collective invites a few female artists from different disciplinary to redefine the “女” character through their chosen art form, in a way to empower and celebrate women and diverse voices today, and beyond.
